On this campus, infrared scans are performed annually with a special focus on the campus boiler plan and on the water system. Infrared scans identified potential programs and allowed the college to schedule preventative maintenance.
And, as we've discussed on this blog before, the insurance company that covers the college views infrared scanning as a preventative tool.
